For the exhibition’s printed and digital posters, a collage was made to emphasize the overlaps and intersections between virtual and material spaces that create the Third Space. The streets in a map of Mexico City can be seen connecting to those in a map of Berlin, establishing the two physical spaces in which the collective walks took place. The presence of both digital and film photographs further the dichotomies and, in existing in the same space, create a third one. Maps, photographs, textures -the materials that can be seen in the collage- are reminiscent of a flâneuse’s desk full of her discoveries, her thoughts and notes, items collected after walking around the city.
